Everyone on the map
A beacon on everyone
Small GPS beacons on every searcher, vehicle, aircraft and helispot report their position.
Relayed from above
The surveyor picks the beacons up over the terrain and relays them, so a team in a canyon is still on the map.
One map for all
Positions are published to CCR and to every screen at the command post. No more "where is team 3?" on the radio.
Details in the white papers Everything that moves, on the map and What goes where.
